  • University Professor, Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Bucharest;
  • Specialist in Parliamentary Law, Legislative Technique and Labour Law.

Professional activities

1967-1974 - successively, Prosecutor at the Local Magistracies of Sectors 5 and 6 of Bucharest Municipality;
1974-1980 - Expert in Labour Legislation for the General Union of Trade Unions of Romania;
1980-1985 - Prosecutor at the Directorate for Extraordinary Civil Appeals at the General Prosecutor Office;
1985-1989 - Counselor at the Legislative Council of Romania;
1989-1990 - Member of the Judicial and Constitutional Commission of the Provisional Council of National Union;
1990-1992 - Advisor to the President of Romania for Legislative Matters;
1992-1995 - Member of the Government, Minister for the Relations with the Parliament;
1995-2000 - President of the Legislative Council;
